Description

Convenience
Our DC20/DC series variable-speed rotary agitators are available in three sizes for cost effective operation at all laboratories. If your laboratory requires a durable, reliable and quiet EPA-approved agitator in a compact, space-saving footprint, the 4 place rotary agitator is the perfect solution.

Versatility
Designed to handle any combination of two-liter borosilicate glass, teflon and plastic bottles, in addition to Analytical Testing Corp’s Zero Headspace Extractors (ZHE). Custom bottle collars are also available to accommodate any bottles of lower volume (see accessories here). The variable speed motor and controller gives laboratories the option to perform TCLP, or other studies and tests that require a slower or faster rotation (1-40 RPM) speed.

Durability
Constructed from high-strength solid aluminum alloy, the precision-machined rotary bar and frame are perfectly balanced for quiet operation and maximum durability. Our DC20S/DC is powered by a 110V/60Hz Bodine 1/4 HP, variable-speed gear-motor. Bodine motors are internally lubricated, maintenance-free, rated for continuous duty operation and made in the USA. A Bodine electronic speed control is included to adjust the speed from 3-40 RPM. We also manufacture a series of fixed speed (30 RPM ±2 RPM) rotary agitators for laboratories looking to perform only TCLP, or other leaching procedures listed in EPA SW-846 (click here for more information).

Performance and Safety
The oversized variable speed gear motor allows for precise positioning of the agitator bar and does not require reset brakes. Samples may be vented or pH adjusted without removing bottles from the agitator.
